KAITLIN WILLIAMS

What Kait is all about:

Kaitlin Williams (she/her) is an interdisciplinary theatre artist born and raised on the unceded, shared territory of the Musqueam, Squamish and Tsleil-Waututh nations (Vancouver, Canada). Since earning her BFA in Acting at the University of Victoria, she has shared her heart and skills with many theatre productions as a director, actor, and costume designer.

Kaitlin has worked with Pacific Theatre, Bard on the Beach, the Arts Club, the Belfry Theatre, ITSAZOO Productions, Delinquent Theatre, the Electric Company, Chemainus Theatre, Western Canada Theatre, Touchstone Theatre, Rumble Theatre, and many others. She has been grateful to receive Jessie Richardson Theatre nominations for both her acting and directing. In 2022, her production of Ins Choi's Kim’s Convenience won Calgary’s Betty Mitchell Award for Outstanding Production. She has served on the Canadian Actors' Equity Association’s Director, Choreographer, Fight and Intimacy Directors’ Advisory Committee. Since 2020, Kaitlin has had the honour of serving as the Artistic Director of Pacific Theatre.

Above all, Kaitlin is a community builder and believes theatre is one of the best ways we can commune together--to bear witness to what it means to be human, grow in our empathy, and collectively attempt to gain a deeper understanding of the world around us.

When not in the theatre she is happiest spending time with her husband Ben, and their daughter Mirren June.
